Annual Sport Day of Bodhisukha School

Bodhisukha School (English Medium - from Class LN to X) has been run by RR Young Buddhist Student Literacy Mission. Since its inception the Mission has given priority of quality education. The School used to celebrate many events such as Annual Excursion, Environment Day, Annual Sport Day, etc for encouraging the new generation into the mainstream of the country.

Bodhisukha School has organized Annual Sport-Day on 16th December 2010. It is always good to see the happiness of the children. On the occasion Daw Myint Myint Swe, the high School teacher from Burma, and Mr. Ko Khin Hlaing, the Kidney Donor, have been invited as chief guests. After opening the ceremony, Ven. Dr. Nando Batha, the Director of the Mission, and SMT. Sankari Sanyal, the principal of the Bodhisukha School, have delivered their speeches consecutively. They were very eventful events. Among the events, three events were very special. One: Balance Race- which is only for women. Guardians, teachers and some guests from Myanmar were participated. In the Balance Race all participants will have to carry an earthen pot on their heads and will have to run to the targeted area. Whoever comes first without touching the pot or falling down of the pot, will get first prize. A young lady from Mon State of Burma got first prize. Two: Blind Hit - Both gens and ladies can participate in this event. This is also very joyful event. Even Venerable Dhammo Batha has participated, but in this events all our school staff took 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes. Three: Passing Ball - Both Gens and Ladies participated in this event, even myself. I expected to take 1st Prize, but on the half of the event I was disqualified. These last three events were just like Indo-Burma competition. Everybody - children, patients, kidney donors, patients' attendances, teachers, novices and monks, were very very happy on the occasion.

May everybody in this world be happy!
